John Henry Coleman,1840-1932, son of Henry Allen Coleman and Sarah Ann Barnes; Farmer and Confederate Veteran, served with Company E, 1st Georgia Cavalry, CSA during the War Between The States. He refugeed to Spanish Honduras in 1867-68 as part of the Confederate colony planted there but returned to Carroll county, Georgia 1869 and married Sarah Elizabeth Pentecost in 1870. They settled in Hoke's Bluff, Etowah county, Alabama.
