paternal great grandmother Lula Jackson Boyd (1871-1943)-- native of Adams, Robertson County, Tennessee--housewife in Hopkinsville, Kentucky-- Her great grandfather, Edwin Jackson (1782-1855) qualified as an ancestor for Alvin Collins in the National Society of the War of 1812. Edwins son Lilburn Monroe Jackson (1818-1893), a Robertson County, Tennessee magistrate, fathered a black son Alex Jackson (1848-1876), who was Lulas father. Around 1876, Alex left home for the gold rush and was never heard from again. Edwins wife, Jane Penick Jackson, (1784-1840) , Lulas great grandmother, was a granddaughter of Mary Mallory Penick (1729-1803), a great granddaughter of the Yorkshire immigrant Roger Mallory ( 1635-1707), whose lineage has long been proven, established, and super documented to be of noble and royal descent.
Lula had a lovely rose garden in her front yard. When Lula died in 1943, she was, postmortemly, robbed. When she was laying in state at the funeral home, it was discovered on the day of her funeral that she had been robbed of the gown she was wearing in her casket !!
