Welcome to the new Woolfenden/Wolfenden group on Genealogy Wise. The Woolfendens are in my husband's family. The photo above shows his grandparents Charles John Woolfenden (1876-1943) and Rose Annie Berryman (1874-1949). Our Woolfendens are all from Cambridgeshire. The line goes back to John Wolfenden and Ann Underwood who married in 1812 in Boxworth, Cambridgeshire. I've never been able to find a baptism for John who was born any time between 1780 and 1788. He died in 1840 and consequently does not appear in any censuses.
