If this is the correct family, I have attached a death register for Roy from 1914. Let me know if this is the correct family and I will see what else I can find.

Thanks so much Tracy. Is WV death files the Wv vital records site. I have a terrible time with that. I live in a rural area of Marion County without access to any highspeed. This puter gives me fits sometime. George Stackhouse was my mother's grandfather. I'm trying to connect the dots to John Stackhouse, Bristol. Bucks County Pa. Who was in the Revolution B. 1759 died Apr. 30 1845 for DAR research. I found a Patriot on my husbands side and am trying to make a connection on my side. I downloaded your file, but wouldn't open. Said it was damaged or some such. Dianne
This is the family. George Woods Stackhouse is my mothers grandfather. My grandmother Ella is not listed though. She and her sister Lucy both married Sauborn brothers when they were in Calhoun Co. before moving to Wetzel. The girls went to Marion Co. Ella was born In 1890. Isaac Stackhouse is the Patriot. Born in Hampshire lived in Harrison, {now Randolph} and then went to Monroe county. Having trouble with his grandson JOSHUA, son of JACOB. JOUSHA IS LISTED AS A SON ON GenCircles, but not on some other sites. I have Joshua Woods born Jan. 9 1823 in Hanover, Columbiana Co. Ohio another site has him born in Harrison Co. D. 1850 monroe Co. This family of Stackhouses have a lot of the same names and I'm getting confused. dud LOL Dianne
Also George's two daughters Amanda and Lucy married Saurborn brothers while the family lived in Calhoun County. Amanda Ellen { went by Ella} even on death certificate. She died in 1924 carrying a child due in less than a month. She was my grandmother. Dianne
Diane, I will do some more looking over the weekend. The file I posted was from the WV site. If you want to email me through here your email address I can send you the file, maybe that will be easier. Terri
My email is bodwelch3@wmconnect.com Thanks a lot Terri I have ran into a odd problem Great Great Grandfather Joshua Stackhouse 1825 monroe , Ohio has 2 wives listed with families that have 4 children with the same name different births though. I'm sure mary McFarland is the wife she has my great grandfathers name in hers. got that off of Ancestry. been getting census also. she is definetly the right one.
Dianne is this another patriot for you. I just havent had time ye to work on your other one. I apology for that too. My sister has surgery so Ive been taking care of her and its cut down on my research time.

Patsy I have been looking here and thereLOL. My Thomas Spencer fell through. He was a patriot, but wasn't married. He was related though. I have found another. I have a Spencer cousin Suzan Wedig who has a bunch of Patriots. She has Thomas on her list of relatives, but not as a Patriot. I decided to go and look on my mother's side and Suzan and I might have ties that way. Stackhouse was my mother's grandmothers maiden name. I had her genealogy back to the 17 hundreds and found a Grandfather by the name of John Stackhouse. Suzan sent me names off the DAR site. John Stackhouse was in the Revolution. I have been downloading census up to him. He should be easy, BUT DAR says he was born 12-Dec-1759 at Bristol Twp Bucks Co. Pa. died 30-APR-1845 Bristol Twp Bucks Co Pa. The census I looked at in 1830-40 has his age 40-50. In 1840 he 80 something. There is documents for a Revolutionary pension on Footnote, but I need to get that census. There were several other Stackhouse's, but i'm not seeing the age. Boy I run on don't I. LOL He's a sure thing if I can connect the dots. Dianne
honey
I might have found what your looking for.. It seems that your going from
George W. Stackhouse
his father was jacob stackhouse.
jacob father was Isaac Stackhouse who fought in the Rev War and is allready proven.
George W. Stackhouse father is Joshua Stackhouse Jr.B. 1822 Belmont , Ohio- died1912 Wetzel County, WV. His father Joshua Stackhouse B.1784 Bucks County Pa. died 1819 Clinton Ohio. John Stackhouse {Patriot} 1759 Bucks County, Pa. Died I845 Bucks County, Pa. John is also already proven, BUT I have a MAJOR problem John's first wife who is Joshua's mother. She died. around 1800. Her name Patrica Bunting.
his second wife Anna Bowman got his pension. I have to prove Patricia Bunting was John's wife and Joshua mother. Don't see how I can do that. DAR said thta has to be proven. Dianne
nobody has that posted that john had a first wife..lol..

I got this paper from my cousin from DAR website. Maybe i'm going the wrong way. Here's what it says." The said Joshu Stackhouse was the child of john Stackhouse born on 12-Dec-1759 at Bristol Twp Bucks Co Pa. died at Bristol Twp Bucks Co Pa. on 30-Apr-1845 and his first wife born on--at died at Bucks Co. Pa. on {a} -- 1802 married on " This is what was on the DAR site. The names of the wives I found on Ancestry. The name of the supposed Wife Anna Bowman I found on FootNote as she received his Widows pension. What a mess. Dianne -
