Watkins from Northamptonshire/Huntingdonshire
I have only 1 WATKINS at this time, but she is a direct ancestor, and i'm stuck.
Her name was Sarah Watkins. She was born before 1759 and died after 1794. Possibly both in Thurning, Northamptonshire/Huntingdonshire. Thurning straddles both counties, or did at one time, so I often find things listed under each county.
Sarah married Robert COLES (Coales, Coals), 9 oct 1744 in Thurning. I don't have the parentage or exact dates of this Robert yet either.
They had 6 children that I know of, Anne, Elizabeth, James (d young), James, Mary, and Sarah. I only have the baptism dates for these children, no births or exact deaths. All in Thurning.
Their second son, James, is who I descend from. He died between 30 mar 1851-1861, which i believe I deduced through census work, but don't recall offhand.
I'd love to learn more about Sarah (and of course any related COLES). Even anything remotely connected. .. I've been stuck at this generation for years. :\
