Hi Lorine,
I really hope you cross post your wonderful story to the Ontario and Canada discussions. It was as much the sacrifice of our grandmothers as it was the heroics of our grandfathers that makes Canada what it is today! Genealogy is not just a list of names and dates, but a group of individuals who each contributed to who we are. Each story from the past can teach us a little bit about ourselves. I thank you for telling us a little bit about you.
