Our Turners begin with Robert (who came to America in 1635 on the ship the Blessing) and married Elizabeth Freestone. We have documented the line from New England to NY to the midwest and then to the west coast. From there they spread out throughout the US. There are 11 boxes of materials in the NY state archives donated by a descendant who was doing genealogy research through the 1950s. Olive Trowbridge MacArthur was the GGGGgranddaughter of Habakkuk & Anne Davenport Turner.
I look forward to learning more about what you have gathered and sharing our research with you. There don't seem to be many researchers of Turners from New England.
I believe my line is through Habakkuk and Anne Davenport TURNER. I would very interested in talking with you and viewing what information you have for your line. And of course, I am happy to share any information I have as well.
Hope to hear from you soon,
You are corresponding with my husband Larry and I don't think, from what he has told me, That we have much more to add. Feel free to continue the conversation with him.
Nice to meet you! Thank you and I will keep in contact with Larry. If I find any new information I will pass it along.
Cheers and have a great day!
