Thompson's from eastern Long Island.
Looking for desendents of William Thompson (1749-1782) married to Martha Drake (1746-1816). They were my GrGrGrGr grandparents. Info I found has their children and grandchildren etc. from Suffolk Co. Long Island. I am new to this genealogy search. Looking to use free web sites. Any ideas would be greatly apreatiated.

We are related! I am searching for William Thompson (1749-1782) as well! My Grandmother was Helen (Thompson) Harris.
She had copies of a family bible and that's where I got my info from. Did you know there's a cemetery in Center Moriches that has a Thompson family plot?
I am wondering how to find more Thompson info.
I was very excited to find someone else looking for the same person. I accidentally posted this as its own thread.
