Hello there, joined today.

My 2x greatgrandfather was a Daniel Pollack who was born in Drove, Düren, Germany. No line to the US or CA as i am the immigrant :)

Any one else from that area in Germany

Since you have it, can you tell where William was born? I just can't make it out.

I have that also but when I talked to dad about it he thought that it was wrong. So I dont know who is right :) But I will keep trying. There has to be a records on where they came from somewhere.

Hey Blake,
I was going through some records on my old computer and found a 1930 census with Emma (Pollack) and Anton Stephanski and son William on it. It listed Brandenburg Germany as Emma's place of birth. Do you want me to send you the census?

Sallie I did get the records from Ellis Island and all they say is Germany. Every record and even the census records say the same thing. I have looked at the State of MO site at the WW1 records for the draft and its a dead end on where they came from. My father did say one time that they came from he thought Saxony but that is a long shot. I do feel that if I can find some church records somewhere maybe I might get lucky.
