My maiden name is Coleman, and it's my dad's side that the Plumptons belong, although I still do not remember the branch. I might have to break down and pay for one month on onegreatfamily.com to retrieve it!! LOL

Comment by Denise Dolan on May 8, 2010 at 9:52pm: Hi Christine and Pearleen. I just joined today and am waiting on more info from my Dad. My great grandfather was George Plumpton married to Florence Porter. Their son, Harry Plumpton, was born in May of 1897 in NY and had a sister named Ethel. We don't have any info about the Plumpton family as their last name was changed to Dolan when George (left?) and Florence met Jim Dolan who had their names changed.

I was on One Great Family, but when I went to ancestry.com, I lost the chart I did on OGF. But this is the line that was related to royalty, so I remember. I am slowly reworking my tree. Maybe we can help each other!
