Typing up Oxfordshire OFHS parish register transcripts

Those of you who have purchased some of the Oxfordshire FHS transcripts on CD will appreciate that though they obviously represent a huge amount of work by OFHS volunteers, they were mostly done in the days of typewriters!

 OFHS has a rekeying program running to rekey those transcripts into spreadsheets, such that they can be published in searchable format, and one which can also be read by speech readers as used by the visually impaired.  The files are also used to build up county-wide indexes.

Is anyone interested in joining the team?  Those already helping OFHS find it fascinating as they enter each new generation of a family!
