I'm assuming you meant Thurlow and not Thulow. There is the 1851 Census of Thurlow, Hastings, Ontario that has 3 William Armstrongs. Unfortunately, I don't have access to any images of the actual census page but you can go to this link:

I can help you with Census records if you provide names and birthdates and counties. I have the following surnames on my family tree: Smith, Miller, Olmsteads, Dyers, Hilts/Hiltz.
