I am researching my genealogy and have found that I have Cramahe roots.  I trace my great great great grandfather, Marvin Goodrich, his wife Lucy Shed and their son, Ransom Goodrich (wife Mary Jane Smith), my great great grandfather, to Cramahe Township.  I know that Marvin and his family were in Cramahe in 1835.

The Marvin Goodrich family owned land in Cramahe.  I don't know his parents names.  I also believe Marvin may have died in this area, but I cannot find his birth, marriage or death records.

Ransom was born 22 September 1822, I believe in Cramahe or Kingston.  My great grandfather, George Henry Goodrich, was born in Colbourne 1 May 1851.  This would make Marvin Goodrich born circa 1800.

I have read that the founding families of Cramahe came from Rutland, Vermont.  There are many Goodrich families there, but I cannot make a connection to Vermont without knowing Marvin's parents' names.

I am hitting a brick wall now.  Would you be so kind as to suggest where I go from here?

Thank you VERY much.  Any help is greatly appreciated!!!
