I have ancestors from Auglaize, Van Wert and Paulding Counties. I'm pretty sure that I have cousins there still.

One set of great-great-grandparents were Adam William Baker and Elizabeth Victoria Speaker who lived in Middlepoint, Van Wert County. Their sons were George, Andrew, Riley, Albin and Stephen.

Another set of great-great-grandparents were Albert Galantine Gatton and Emeline Berryman. They were married 10 April 1852. Both had been married before. Emeline had been married to Felix Devore. Albert and Emeline lived on the family farm held by Russel Berryman. Their children were Sarah Jane, Cornelia, Albert Jr. and Margaret.

My great-grandparents were Andrew Baker and Margaret Gatton. They were married about 1876. In 1880 they lived in Van Wert County. By 1886 they were living in Paulding County. In 1909 they moved to Kalamazoo County, Michigan. Their children were Charles, Daisy, Pearl, Otto, Leroy, Ralph, Grace, Gertrude, Verna, Osie, Mary and Harry (adopted, his birth surname was O'Brien).

Pearl Baker married John Lewis Landrum and remained in Paulding County. Their children were John Jr., Gladys, Maggie, Robert, Donna and Eva.

Verna Baker went by the name of Fern. She settled in the Toledo area with her second husband William Stevens.

I would love to hear from any family members. I would also like help in finding out what happened to Emeline Berryman. Her husband died of pneumonia in January 1862, serving in the Union Army. The last record I have of her is the 1870 federal census when she and her family were living in Spencerville, Allen County.

I also don't know what happened to Margaret's half sisters Bathsheba and Mercy. Bathsheba Devore was born 1844. She married William Sunderland 7 April 1864 in Allen County. They had daughters named Inez and Emma. I know Emma married Albert Bowsher and moved to St. Joseph Co., MI. I don't know what happened to Inez.

Mercy Devore was born about 1846 and married someone named Dennison. Her two children were Lena L. Dennison born about 1865 and Charles A. Dennison born about 1869. I've lost track of all of them. I haven't been able to find anything in Ancestry either.
