Here is a typical example of a naturalization file from the federal (post-1906) period. Luckily, most of the application papers have been combined: declaration, petition, oath, and order.
Many ancestors, however, filed applications in more than one county or state, or in more than one court within the same locality. And they did so over many years -and sometimes decades.
