Questions about sources on Legacy
I have someone who joined the military in the USA but served out of the USA. On the source it says "Choose source type - I put military" then step 2 is "All countries except USA, or USA" Which one should I choose: The country were he served or the country where he joined?"

Tammy, select the country from which they served. So in this case, select USA.

IMHO, you should select the country for which he served, not necessarily the country in which he served. In your case select the USA.
Perhaps someone wiser will chime in with better advice, but that's mine! -
