Our family is thought to have originated in Larrau, Aquitaine, France, and lived for several generations in northern France. In 1656, Jacques DeLaRaue, his wife, Anne Fossé, and their son, François emigrated from Dieppe, France, to Québec, Canada. There have been over 50,000 descendants of this single family identified throughout the world.
