Well, Donna it looks like it might just be you and me for a while. :) Here's my Kolb (somewhat of a) brick wall: Rudolph J. Kolb b. Jul 1865.

I find Rudolph J. through Rudolph H Kolb, b. 1885 in NJ, d. 1962. Rudolph H is found on the found on the 1900 Census, Jersey City Ward 7, Hudson, New Jersey, with parents Rudolph J. (b. Jul 1865) and Theresa Kolb (b. Apr 1865), and siblings Samuel W Kolb (b. May 1890), Gertrude H Kolb (b. Aug 1893), Reginald Kolb (b. Jul 1895), Frederick Kolb (b. May 1897), and Elizabeth Kolb (b. Apr 1899).

I have found a Rudolph J. Kolb b. 1865 on the earlier censuses with parents Peter and Helene Kolb, but I haven't had much luck convincing myself that this is MY Rudolph J. Kolb. This is on my genealogy task list.
We found an old family document that shows with certainty that Rudolph H Kolb (b. 1885 NJ d. 1962 NY) was born to Rudolph J Kolb (b. 1865 NJ d. unknown) and Theresa (surname unknown, b. 1865 NJ d. unknown). We also know that Rudolph J Kolb (1865-?) was born to Peter Kolb (b. 1828 Germany, d. about 1890 NJ) and Maria Helene (surname unknown, b. 1824 Germany, d. unknown).
