Welcome to the John Liming Society forum on NIGS. This forum is set up here as "Cousin Bait", to help those who may or may not know if they descend from John Liming the Immigrant and find our family association. 

The John Liming Society was founded by me, Kari Lemons June of 2015 and launched in July. In planning for over 2 years, the society seeks to preserve the history, genealogy and artifacts of the Liming family.

We can prove if you are connected to us by YDNA testing at Family Tree DNA.

You will need a man with one of the surnames above to get tested, this man should have a really good sourced tree going as far back as possible up the direct male line. It is important to make sure that there are sources to verify each father/son relationship.
