Sources materials to include on CD
I read somewhere that we only need to include copies (electronic) of materials used to actually show relationship from children to parents. Is that right? If we have additional information about the family, which does not add to the evidence of parenthood, are we supposed to include that source material on the CD?

You are correct! The applicant needs to include copies of supportive documents providing evidence to link each of the four generations. Documents not cited or not key to the project do not need to be included on the CD.

Help me understand this. If I cite a census on Ancestry.com or Heritage Quest, I have to do a screen capture of that census page? If I cite the Indiana State Library online pre 1850 marriage data base, I should do a screen capture of the couple, or must I go to the county and xerox the actural listing in the marriage book? -kk -

I'd probably save a copy of the census image and not do a screen capture. You can save images from Ancestry.com very easily. They will not include the source information though so you'll want to make a note of that.
I'd also copy the actual marriage entry if at all possible. An online database (unless images are contained) would be secondary and you're looking for primary evidence as much as possible. Thats just standard in genealogical research though and not just for ICAP Gen stuff.
For the report, you want to get as many actual documents as possible. For everything I am photocopying from a book or printing from an online index, I'm finding an original record to support it. -
