My Halton/Haltom line comes from SC. My husband's grandmother was Susan Carolois Halton m. Dewitt Clinton Cauthen. Sue b. 9/8/1915 San Jacinto Co., TX d. 3/20/1999 Walker Co., TX. Her parents were James Robert Haltom b. 10/16/1866 SC d. 3/13/1928 TX and Mary Eva Reed b.10/19/1887 Cass Co., TX d. 11/25/1974 Walker Co., TX. James is my brick wall.
