Attempting to find my ggg grandmother's roots, she being Elizabeth HAYNES of Camden, Ontario, born there, I think, in 1793, married to Nicholas BOWER 27 April 1812 by a Presbyterian pastor, the Reverand MCDOWELL.  She had at least one daughter, Hannah, born in September of 1820 and another, my gg grandmother, Catharine BOWER MOFFAT who died at Sugar Island, Michigan about 1885.  Nicholas is a grandson of Adam BOWER, U.E.L. and great grandson of Nicholas SHAVER, U.E.L.  I am wondering if Elizabeth is descended from any of the U.E.L.s named HAYNES or HAINES, such as Joseph HAINES, Sr. or Adam HAINES.  The location and timing of her birth would seem to indicate a parent who could have served in the 2nd Battalion, K.R.R.N.Y., given that, that particular unit received land in Lennox and Addington.  Any info will be enormously appreciated.  Thank you!.
