ENDER family in Sohland, Germany
My husband's ancestors came to the U.S. from Sohland Germany in 1882. We very much want to continue tracing this family in Germany. Sohland is a very small town and I hope to get in contact with the Lutheran church there to see what records they may have.

Hi Denise, I haven't found any connection to our ENDER family outside of the area where they settled in Lee County, Texas in 1882 & other parts of Texas where their descendants moved to. One part of the group was in Louisiana for awhile but returned to Texas and they did change their name to ENDERS. Does your group have the "s" as part of the surname? Did they come from Germany?
