Where are your BURGESS's from?

My BURGESS family settled in NSW, Australia. They come from a convict, John BURGESS who married Janet RIDDELL in Singleton in 1840 and is buried in Tarro Cemetery.
His son Thomas BURGESS married Angelina BANFIELD and their 11 children added to the growth of this surname locally !
My BURGESS family is based around the Hunter Valley towns of Minmi, Kurri Kurri, Buttai, and Maitland.
