Jim,

My father is in Book II and I would like to add the following generations.  Can you tell me to whom I should send the info?

I would like to correspond with anyone researching the line of Wait Moses Benedict born June 3, 1846, died February 23, 1929.

I just started researching the Benedict name in my husband's family tree. His gr. gr grandmother was Mary Frances Benedict; granddaughter of Jacob Shelby Benedict Jr. I have found mention of Jacob Jr's grandfather, John, in a book about Lincoln County, Kentucky (a preview in Google books). I have found mention that John's father was Dietrich (possibly Johann Dietrich Benedict from Germany). I haven't positively connected John and Dietrich yet, but I'm pretty sure this is the same Dietrich mentioned by Beverly below.
There are passenger lists online, but I'd like to find more about him in America. Marriage, etc... If anyone else is working on this line, please contact me!

Try emailing me at webmaster@genealowiki.com. My full name is Albert James Benedict. If you have the Benedict books, I am on page 247, vol. II.

No. I checked my books for any Benedict relative: Dietrich B., Dietrich Huber, Andreus Huber or Hoover. Then went on Ancestry.com for any match there, but no luck. Not abel to find any information for you, sorry.

Do you know of a Dietrich Benedict who came over on the ship to America with Andreus Huber (Hoover) (Quaker) who was President Herbert Hoover's ancester from Switzerland ?

I don't have a Facebook account, but there is something similar and even better for genealogy families. You might be interested, but to get you on, I would need to know the connection from the original Thomas down to Ruth Benedict. Would Sue know this, and could you forward it to me?

We are related, but in a long, long, branch. Your g+ grandmother was a daughter of the original Benedict family in North America, the daughter of Thomas Benedict and Mary Bridgham. I do not follow the Slawson family line, but I have entered the marriage union on my GenealoWiki website at:
