I am researching the following surnames in the above named counties: GLOVER, LANDRUM, SMITH, TOWNSEND &  WINSLET(T).  My 3rd great grandparents are Samuel LANDRUM and Chloe GLOVER and were listed on the 1870 census in Bullock Co. AL.

I found Chloe and 3 of her children (Anderson, Caroline and Amanda) listed in the inventory of John P. GLOVER's will in 1862 along with the following other slaves: Jim, a man about 63; Henry, a man about 19 years old; and one half interest in Jane, a looman [sic] (woman?) and her child, Jim.

All of the slaves and other personal property of John P. GLOVER were sold in accordance with his will in order that his heirs would receive the amounts designated to them in the will.

I am looking to find anyone else who might be researching these names in this area to share info with.
