Is there a way to import/transfer the information I have on Ancestry.com into Genealogy Wise?  It would save me tons of time.  Any help I can get is appreciated.

Hopefully, Julie, you are saving the actual web pages from your ancestry.com account before leaving there.

The only practical way I know of, is to copy/paste the info from 1 site or saved web-page to this site.

Thank you, sir, and yes, of course I'm saving that information. The stories can be copied and pasted. I was thinking more of the photos plus their descriptions, for instance, that I've already uploaded to Ancestry and want to have on this site as well......time-comsuming.....the ten military pages I've created......the numerous birth and death dates entered.  Honestly, I'm simply looking for a way to save some time but don't think I'm going to find it.

I appreciated your response.  Have a wonderful day.

Dear Julie,

Some websites will allow you to upload an entire page to their site. However, if the Ancestry.com page of yours has identifying headers or their info on it, they will not likely allow it.

If you plan on keeping your Ancestry.com account, why not just put a hyperlink on your page on this GenealogyWise.com site?

I found the attached page of yours to test. lets see if it works.

Bingo! I just opened the page attached, and it works.

You have to save the web pages to your PC first, then upload them.

A lot easier than re-creating the entire page on this site.
