Taking the new Autosomal DNA test from Ancestry.com. Has anyone else here done this?

So I ordered the new DNA test from Ancestry, because it was only $99.  And I'm very curious as to what they can tell me about my ethnicity and maybe find some cousins.  Has anyone taken this test, or a similar one and what was your experience with it?  I think I know what mine will say my ethnicity is and I hope I'm not disappointed... and they tell me I'm wrong.  I'm mostly European.  Except I do have a Grandfather who is Mexican and looks like he's Native American.  He says he's got a lot of Aztec in him.  I'm hoping this will show up in my results.

Please.. I would love to hear other's experiences with these kind of tests.

So far, my results have not exactly been inspiring. Hopefully, as more people take the test, the results and possible connections will come in. We have a few 5th to 8th cousin relations possible. My daughter actually took it. To our knowledge her ethnicity is mostly German, Bohemian, and a smidgen Italian with some English too. Her results were 56% Scandinavian, 34% Southern European, and 10% unknown. We shall see what happens as more data is collected.

Since the test is still pretty new on Ancestry..  you probably will find more cousins.  I like that it tells you what parts of Europe your ancestors come from as I've seen some that just say "European".  Wow, it's a large continent..afterall.  Yours sounds interesting.  I hope you will find more out later.  Let me know..  I'll post my results when I get them.

Thanks for your reply.   I was starting to feel lonely.
