Putnam Co IN

I administer FTDNA's Vowell Y-DNA Project.    Seek to learn if Manpage (Mann Page) Vowell left a will or died intestate in Putnam Co IN in 1839/40.    A deed of sale on 1 Feb 1841 in Putnam Co IN listed the heirs of Manpage Vowell.   To establish lineage for participants in the Y-DNA project, need to know if a Thomas Vowell was son of Manpage Vowell.   Thomas was not included in this list, but I do not know if this 1841 listing of legal heirs was a comprehensive list of biological heirs.    Can anyone help?   Thanks.   -Will Hendricks
