One Of My Dead Ends: Panther aka Painter

I have been searching for this family for a while now.

My Panther family are from Cowee, Macon county, North Carolina. My Great Grandfather Samuel Augustus Panther was born on August 02, 1879. His LDS sealing information and death information showed that his parents were Norecil/Noriseal Boyd and Alford Painter. A census showed that his mother was Mary Catherine Panther  and family story says  that my great grandfather Samuel Augustus, Panther was son of Alfred Burton Dalton but there is no proof. No birth certificate either.

Mary Catherine Panther (sis)

was daughter of Arzumie/Arzoomie/zoome Panther and Sarah "sally" Boyd.

Sarah boyd was daughter of William Boyd and Katherine "Kattie" Sharp

Alfred Burton Dalton was son of John Dalton and Mildred Metcalf.

Are their any relatives or information out there on this line?
