DNA Testing

Hello, I hope I've put this in the right spot as I'm using my iPod!
I'm just curious how many people have taken a DNA test for genealogy?
I've tested with 23andme and Family Tree DNA.  I've found two third cousins
but they're both adopted. Thanks for reading this, cheers
