I became interested in meeting with my father's relatives after his death in 1993. However I did not start studing the family tree until 2008. My father left the record of family tree which he started in 1830. It had helped me to jump start on the meeting with my relatives.

  • Donna LaVonne Senff-Mata

My friend Larry Bowles recommended the site. We shall see how many kinfolk I find on here. I found a barrel full of relatives on Facebook. Has to be at least 30 of my cousins in Norway on FB.

I have been doing research for 2 1/2 years and have found out amazing things about my family branches that I did not know. I also met a 'cousin' through ancestry.com and we have accomplished so much for one branch of our tree. Still looking.....that is what makes this such a neat hobby. :o)
  • ansley frank terence smith

I am known as terry smith by most people who have grown up with me and thought it would be great to make contact with a few possible family members and old freinds that have disappeared for many years. Will be very interesting to see how many are out there

I'm fairly new at this Genestuff and it sure does bring back childhood memories...one in particuliar is a song that my Great Uncle use to sing me as I sat on his knee. It's the Burl Ives little jingle about "There was a Tree and the Green Grass Grew All Around, All Around. I must say, "This is Gonna Be the Biggest Tree I Ever Did See!"
And on this tree...there was a unknown cousin...who has become a great geneaddict partner...and the green grass grew all around, all around and the green grass grew all around.

I had a bad experience last night with adware invading my computer when I opened your site, through Facebook. I requested having my tree removed but received no reply. I am concerned about the safety of this site.

I'm looking for descendants of my great grandparents Rachel and Nathan Abrams, born in Poland in the 1840s who settled in Texas, Wayne County, Penn. The 1880 census lists five children. Appreciate any help to find further information about this family.
