The Wolford Connection - Correcting Some Errors

I knew this was bound to happen and I have to correct some errors. The first concerns the three Catherine Kremers or Kraemer. Philip Wolford was married to Catherine Kraemer and they lived in West Manheim Twp., York Co PA. Some of their children went to Centre Co. PA.  Her name is correct. The Wolford Connection - John Wohlfart Sr's Will (Centre Co PA)

This is the John Wolford who I posted about before Philip. Spelling should have been Wohlford or Wohlfart.

Any of you who followed the Jerry Sandusky trial last week, caught glimpses of the beautiful courthouse where the trial was held in Bellefont PA. That is the same courthouse where brothers John and Philip filed their wills. I believe the older wills are now in the hands of the historical society.

John's children began the migration of Wohlfords. Kleckners and Snooks from…

Hello - when I started this I had the intention of posting something once a day but then my world turned upside down - I adopted a golden retriever who is finally getting used to me being on the computer. It is too hot to be outside so I am in here working on the blog.

My interest in the Wolfords are in this country only. My old friend the late Jon Wohlford had some research on them from Europe and I will include that but not here at this time. I am starting off with my 5th…

The Wolford Connection

I have a literal ton of information on Wolford or Wohlford and about 17 other spellings. I want to share this information and thought a blog would be a good way. The information you will find here is mainly from my personal research and what was contributed for publication in a newsletter I did about 15 years ago called The Wolford Connection. I also have research that Elaine Wolford shared with me and asked me to share with others and research by Jon Wohlford.
