- I began out of a curiosity of a notebook a cousin of my fathers gave us, and it was filled with names and dates (like an old family bible). And I had to figure out who these people were and where they came from, etc.

Hi Stacie,
My husband's Sturdevants came to Canada about 1825 from Willinck in New York State. They settled in the Lambton County area of Wilkesport in Sombra Township. This was Paul Sturdevant who had married Lydia Eddy of Vermont. Might any of these names or locations connect with your line? I have found very few descendants of this family. Most others connect to Samuel Sturdevant. We cannot connect Paul to anyone.
