I am of the Anthony Morris 1654-1721 line. On Familysearch.org they had it filled out to Alberic Centumlioe Montmorency 900-959 & Lady Elgiva Monthery 903 Wessex, England- 937. I took screen shots. Now it is back to Anthony. I am assuming there was a good somewhere with the repeats of names the pre-surname shifts a little. It needs to be researched and sourced but it was all someone else's work so it is only good as possibly. It could be right and the person removed a relationship instead…See More

What is your level of genealogy knowledge?
Intermediate Family History Researcher
For what reason did you start genealogy research?
The past is where my heart is. I inherited at least 4 generations of letters and I started researching to sort out who was who. I thought I should of asked more questions while someone was around to tell me things. Turns out I was left a chance to find out for myself. I have at least 10 binders of letters from family and friends and have a cousin that is head of the local geneology club with at least 5 more and hundreds of black and white negatives. I am still uploading stuff a year later and my cousin has about 6 months. One thing led to another and I am shocked. I could never own all the books written about my ancesters. History and the Bible have never been so interesting. I seems more likely 75% I can run a name and I am related. Not done yet, but so far only 3 president might not be related. I can't keep up with all the places my ancesters were kings of. I have over 1,000 big names on my watch list. No small duke or Lord titles. That is why I am looking into research and sources. Seems too good to be true and if it is I should probably save a country or move a mountain. My main site I use is FamilySearch.org
