If you are a genealogy expert, what are your specialties?

Altho not an expert, I have taught Beginner's Genealogy at night school, as well as private lessons to individuals.

For what reason did you start genealogy research?

My grandfather's war stories as I was growing up. Then in 1974 I visited Vimey Ridge (the site of many of his stories) and it hit home that his experiences were not just stories after all!
