Daralyn,

Thank you for commenting on my family. It has been forever since I have been on here. I do miss it. Anyway, as to my Rennick family. I haven't been able to find out where they came from. I only have them once they were in the united States. My line goes like this: William Rennick b. 1780 in Virginia m. to Anne McDade; Abraham Rennick b. 1835 in Indiana m. to Mary Adeline Herring; Anna Elizabeth Rennick b. 1860 in Kansas m. to George Joseph Bayless. I was hopeful that I would be able to find living relatives still possessing knowledge of the family's origins since Abraham and Mary had 12 children, but alas, no one I found was able to shed any light on the family. Anna Elizabeth Rennick Bayless was my husband's great grandmother. Can I ask, was/is your Rennick family Catholic? All the Rennick's I have found on my husband's side have been Catholic.
