Advanced Family History Researcher
If you are a genealogy expert, what are your specialties?
Although not an expert in every facet of genealogy, I am in US Reeves' geneaology. I have been involved in genealogy for 40 years. I am a co-founder of The Reeves Project wiki database of Reeves' families since its inception in 2010. I'm also a Co-admin of the Reeves DNA Project at FtDNA. My specialty would probably be that I love digging through extant historical records, even unindexed minutia to find documented information to solve mysteries. Also research of Reeves in the US colonies regardless of whether they belong to my family or not.
For what reason did you start genealogy research?
I began searching Kentucky records in courthouses, libraries and cemeteries with my mother and her sisters in the 1970s to learn more about our ancestors who migrated to Kentucky's Jackson Purchase after it was accessed by the US government..
