Hello Andy, if you want to send me your Olejarz names in Detroit I will see what I can find. I live one hour from Detroit and know some people who research polish lines in Detroit area.

Hello Andy-Welcome to genealogywise. I do not know of any Polish ancestors in my line but then again I'm working against quite a few brick walls. Best of luck in your research - enjoy!

Hello Andy, thank you for writing. My polish kin came to the US in 1907. Hew name was Anna Washenko. All I know is she had an older brother Andrew who came to the US before her. She was born in 1887. I know she spoke only Russian. Any help with tracing her origin is greatly appreciated.

I will try to post below in polish...using google translate.

Hello Andy, Dziękujemy za wiadomość. Mój krewny przyjechał do Polski z USA w 1907 roku.

Hello. No, I don't speak any Polish. I've been told my surname is sort of popular in Poland, so hopefully that will help me in my research. I don't have any Olejarz in my family tree, but Polish surnames are very common in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area that my family settled down in. A lot of my family originated from Poland, either Pommernia or Prussia or Poland itself.

Hi Andy,

I added Olejarz to the "Surname Groups Needed". Hopefully someone will start this group for you.
