My Russell line begins with Samuel Russell, born 8 October 1788 in Onslow County, North Carolina, married Ann Elizabeth Corby, and died 11 May 1830 in Wilmington, New Hanover County, North Carolina. I am descended from his son Charles Russell through his second wife, Mary Dix.
