For those who wish to introduce themselves - perhaps say something about your ancestral connection to Missouri, and share any details about particular areas of expertise.

My paternal ancestors arrived in St. Louis between 1880 and 1910 (from Poland and Lithuania), and my maternal ancestors arrived in St. Louis between 1920 and 1934 (from Texas, and Illinois). I have lived in St. Louis my entire life (40 years) except for a few years during college.

My maternal line (HARDEN, NEWSOM, HARDWICK, GENTRY, BRICKEN) were in Carroll Co. by 1840, coming from KY and NC. BATES ancestors arrived in Carroll Co. around 1870 from OH and CT.
My paternal line (HARRIS, MUNDAY) were in Camden Co. by 1850, coming from TN and NC.

I'd like to hear from anyone with similar interests. I'm especially interested in Camden Co. connections.
My Paternal ancestors DONAGHE moved to Boone county in 1828. I currently think they moved to Boone county since his wifes family had moved there LINDSAY. Shortly after that his cousin moved to Boone county. From there Hugh C. moved to Hickory county for awhile, then moved to McDonald county.
Hi, My name is Heather and I have been researching my family tree for several years now. I have lived in Missouri all my life and have learned through my research my maternal great grandfather was born in Missouri and possibly my great grandmother was too.
Surnames I am researching in Missouri are: COOPER, SIMPSON, BAYLES, PAYNE, BERRY

In addition, I would love to find someone who lived in St. Louis or had a family member that lived in St. Louis between 1942-1952. First let me say I know this is probably a long shot... but my Grandmother Cooper owned a restaurant @ 1216 Olive in Downtown St. Louis during that time frame. It was right next door to the Missouri Pacific Building. The name of the restaurant was: The Little White House. If anyone remembers it or has any information or stories about The Little White House, I would really like to hear from you.

Thanks!

My tree covers Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, Illinois, Ohio & New Jersey.
