Hi Jacqueline,
I think I can help you a lot with John Octerloney Lovitt's family. He was my husband's gr grandfather's brother.
Carol Lovitt
Would be very grateful if you could point me in the right direction.Have spent many hours trying to find this line.My grandmother was Otie Lovitt McNealy.and her father was Loney. She is the only ancestry of my family I have not been able to find.So i t seems in a round about way we are I would be related to your husband.
Thanks Again,

HI Jacqueline,
I have been searching for Otie and her husband Arnold's deaths. I was told that Otie died in Ohio but I can't find her death in Ohio or any other state for that matter. Nor can I find Arnold. I will keep looking and if I find anything at all I will get back to you with what I find.
Thank you for your time in helping my search.Arnold and Otie had lived in Jellico, where he was a coal miner. The then moved to Toledo Ohio, where he owned a gas station. He was killed in a Traffic accident in Oberline Ohio on the way to our house in1963.My grandmother ,Otie spent a year in the hospital and rehab from her injuries.
I have the genealogy form the McNealy- Baird family of my grandfather going back to the 1600's.
But the only information I have been able to find on Otie Lovitt Mcnealy is that her parents were John Octerlony Lovitt, who went by Loney, born 1877.And her mother was Dinah Campbell Lovitt born,1876.Her siblings were Elsie Lovitt Alter,Nora Lovitt Reynolds, and Arthur Lovitt.Loneys brothers wereSid,Lewis and Leroy. He also had a half sister.
So the Lovitt line is the one I am searching for.
Thanks again for your help,Jacqueline Channel
