Faith & Edward Doty are my 7 G.Grandparents.  My G Grandmother was daughter of  Julia Ann Doty...married Henry Gibbon Parsons.  GG, 3,4,5,6 all Doty.  Contacted "Richard Hansaker of Utah who created Pilgrim Family Tree.  Samuel Doty, (1733-1829-in that tree) had 3 wives, 32 children.  Made for some age confusion when looking at His age verses spouses and children...they even have "2 Samuel sons"!  Seeking Possible Indian Relatives of this tree?

Edward Doty of the Mayflower is my 9th great grandfather.  The last mention of our line in the book "The Doty-Doten Family in America" is my 6th great grandmother Faith Doty marrying Job Bates (Batts).

My Doty line is not a direct line it is through marriages. I only have living Doty's so far on my line. I have not began to do a deep search on this surname as of yet.

If you would like to take over as Admin for this group, just let me know. If it shows only one member, that would be me, in this case if you would like to make your own group for this surname, I can delete this one and add my information to yours. Just let me know.
