I am the editor of the Bulletin, issued three times a year, for the Tri-City Genealogy Society in Richland WA.  I would like to include your article “Surname Origins of Our German Ancestors” in one of our issues and mention your editing history with Roots Web. For the latter I would use some comments from Roots Web posted January 3, 2007, “tell us it isn’t so.” I would give you appropriate credit for the article, let you review it, and suggest that our members check out the Genealogy Wise site with all its good genealogy help.

I am so excited!! I have a direct connection to John C. Bankston of Bolivar County, MS. in the mid 1800's. I only recently discovered this connection!! I will gladly share any information I have that would help you in your Bankston research. : ) I am sure you have valuable information that would help me! This connection to the Bankston line has solved some challenging mysteries I have had for many years in my genealogy research- yet caused more mysteries too! lol Isn't that how it goes with genealogy? But that makes the research so much fun. (Sometimes! lol) I hope you are still researching your Bankston line. My email is jenicoe2001@yahoo.com. I hope we can make a connection with our Bankston genealogy research. Thank you and hope to hear from you soon!
