Hi Brian,
My Hatch family goes back to Bramshaw.
I have a Edith Hatch (1858 ) married to Albert Biddlecombe. Edith is the daughter of Thomas Hatch & Martha Babey. Thomas is the son of David & Amelia Hatch ( 2nd cousins ) David & Amelia are my husbands 2nd great grandparents. Their son William (1826 Bramshaw ) came to Australia
Convicted at Winchester 2\1\1849 for sheep stealing.Sentence; 7 years
Arrived in Fremantle, Western Australia, per "MINDEN" 18 Oct'1851.
Ticket of leave issued before docking.
Worked out his sentence for a Mr Padbury at Moore River.
Given permission to marry on the 14 Dec 1854 to Mary Flynn of County
Galway Ireland. His term expired on the 1st of Jan'1856.
Buying properties in 1863 & '68 they established themselves as respected
and well loved citizens of the Moore river district.
Mary died March 1901 & buried with two of her grandchidren who died in
the same month & year , near the house on her Daugther Sara's property
"Orange Springs".William died in 1908 & is buried in an unmarked grave
under a big gum tree west of the house at "Fernwood".
We may connect up along the way. I have a lot of data on the Hatch famliy of Wilts & Hants. Some from others but not documented.I am happy to share
