Hi Carole, I got in last night from my trip. Thought I'd drop a quick note before getting buried with playing 'catch up' with work. I have different data than you (as far as middle names): Michael John McInaney (born 8 Aug 1860) married Ann Crerar Quinlivan (born 4 Dec 1861) on 13 Feb 1882 at St. Joseph's Church in Stratford, Perth, Ontario, Canada. I had a copy of the marriage record from the Natl. Archives of Ontario. Unfortunately, my home burned to the ground six months ago and I lost everything. Twenty five years of genealogical research and photos, including copies of documents over 300 years ago. Truly devastating...

I met your aunts and uncles, along with your grandfather Jim (who, by the way, was named Justin after my grandfather), up in Sandpoint and Hope a few years ago. I had met your Aunt Susan prior while in Denver; she was visiting Cathy Miller and I got to go over and meet her. I gave her a CD with information and photos of our McInaney/Crerar/Quinlivan ancestors. Perhaps she forwarded a copy to you?

Both Ann (Quinlivan) and Mike McInaney are buried at Evergreen Cemetery in Colorado Springs, CO. Several years ago, a few of us paid to have a headstone put at their gravesite, as there wasn't one there. I don't know why none of their children ever put one there, but when I learned (through a cousin that lived there and went to visit the graves) that they didn't have one, a group of us put up the money to get one made.

I see you have Zeigler in your family. My 5 Great Grandmother is Christina Ziegler (no info on her as yet) married to Rudolph Manbeck. The lived in Tulpehocken Township, Berks County, PA. And were members of the Altalaha Evangelical Lutheran Church there. Rudolph, b. aug 1743, arrive in the US Aug 1765

Hi Carole, I have practically nothing on my Vollmer. As possible leads I have the names of George Mathias Vollmer, John with wife Mary, and John with wife Magdelena and Herman George Vollmer.

My GGG Grandmother, Margaretha Charlotte Vollmer was born in Bavaria Dec 1826 and died in St. Louis Mo Nov. 1891. She was married to my GGG Grandfather, Michael Sutter.

I am really at a dead end with her ancestry. Were any of your Vollmers in St. Louis, Missouri?

Hi Carole, Yes, we're cousins! My maternal grandfather was Justin Arthur McInaney, Janet's baby brother. I haven't been spending much time the past three years researching my genealogy, as I've been sailing instead. Several years ago I went up to Stratford, BC to the Crerar reunion and met a lot of our very distant cousins. I also visited the land/homesteads of our various Quinlivan, Crerar and McInaney ancestors there, as well as the graves of many. I'm out of the country at present, but would love to correspond via email and compare notes when I return.
