Could you give additional information about your Susannah Childs of Missouri? I suspect she is a different line than my late husband's (southern US) Childses, but the name does appear in his family.

Our earliest known Childs was Thomas T. Childs, b 1801 Georgia, marr abt 1834 prob. Alabama to Senoy (Seeny, Senan; Acthina?) Dean, said to have been Cherokee or Choctaw. Thomas and Senoy had a daughter named Susanah b ~1837.

Thomas T.'s parents could have been John C. Childs (b abt 1791 South Carolina) and Elizabeth [--?--] (b abt 1794 Georgia).

I did try to check your website, but apparently I'd have to have a password to look at it.

Hi Rita,
thanks for your speedy response. They were mostly Ag Labs or Straw Plaiters. Will look into religion. I know they lived in Church Row in Wing. They were related to the Randalls and Irons.

Hi Rita,

all my PEASE' come from Buckinghaamshire so far. Have you any idea if the Essex tribe branched out to Bucks at some point? Thanks, Lynn
