Etheridge's from Middlesex, England to America

Recently learned about some ancestors from Middlesex England in the 1500s that migrated to Norfolk, Virginia sometime in the early to mid 1600s, moving southwards through North Carolina eventually to Alabama and Mississippi.

Was curious if anyone here might have found similar movement patterns in their research.
