I am beginning to do research on Matilda C Mays B Jan 19, 1848   D Mar 1 1909. Daughter of Thomas and Mary Mays. No other information on them.   Matilda married Ambrose W Boyle but have no date. I believed Mays and Boyle lived in Clearfield Co PA.  Information I have on Matilda shows  she was  the  youngest of 5 children: Anthony (1836),  William (1840), Letty (1843) Rebecca (1847) and Matilda (1848).   Matilda and Ambrose Boyle had 11 children. Of which one Mary Boyle was my grand mother. If  anyone has any more information on Mays i would appreciate hearing from them.

Correction to former post...looking for Peter May and wife Eva Smith (not Lucinda Pike - she belongs somewhere else in my lineage).

Looking for info on Peter May and wife Lucinda Pike May who lived in Preston VA for 1860 census with four children. Also want info on Phillip C. May (born in Maryland 1840) and his wife Ida M. Atwell May (born in Kentucky 1859).

I have a Woodson May born in VA about 1781 and died in Courtland, Lawrence County, Alabama in1839. I would love to get futher back on this line. I believe his father may be Abner May and wife Sarah no last name. Abners father may be Henry May and wife Priscilla Hain. I have not documented this information. My only documentation is on Woodson May. I have some court records from CharlotteCo, VA. He was on the 1830 census in Lawrence Co AL and he was married to Elizabeth White in Lunenburg County, Virginia 10 Oct 1801. I just returned from Lawrence Co. Alabama with the death information.
