Son Edward Clay/Clayton Shores born in Kokomo, Howard County, Indiana

Both died in California.

This is my husbands great grandfather and great, great grandfather.

Comment by Sandy on August 2, 2009 at 10:12pm: My Shores line began with Samuel Shores, he moved to Bradford County Pa in 1795. There is reference to the old "Shores place" being sold around 1790s to a Chamberlin in Sussex County NJ. I am looking for the complete name of this Shores family. Samuel also had a cousin James from Newark who moved to Bradford County. One of his older children was born in Canoe Brook NJ. His wife was Polly Stephens. If you have any connection to this family in these locations please contact me.
